The LEADERSHIP GERMANTOWN Program begins in January with an evening Get Acquainted Social followed by exciting, updated class sessions including a three day Team Trek experience in Heber Springs, Arkansas. Team Trek is a team building and leadership program utilized by Leadership Memphis and corporate clients such as FedEx, Smith & Nephew and International Paper. This three day session is MANDATORY for the Leadership Germantown program.
Additional sessions, which will run thru mid-June, include topics such as State Government, County Government, County Education, City Government, History/Quality of Life, Hands on Leadership, The Chamber of Commerce, our Medical community and a class service project.
LEADERSHIP GERMANTOWN
requires a serious commitment.
Attendance and participation is
REQUIRED at all sessions.
Candidates must be residents of Germantown or be employed/involved in the community. Candidates may nominate themselves or be nominated by employers, organizations, or individuals. Nominees must then complete and return a detailed application (available at left). Parti-cipants are selected on the basis of their leadership potential and desire to become involved in the community. This is an equal opportunity program.
Positions for the Class of 2011 have been filled. Check back in August for the 2012 Application. For further details, contact Donna Chandler Newman at 901-861-9676.
